Two experts from the Wisconsin Historical Society will conduct a workshop at Village Hall at 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, to present details for property owners to obtain tax credits to improve historic buildings.

The workshop, which is open to all interested individuals, will take place in the Fire Department Training Room. Enter from the back side of Village Hall.

The presenters at the workshop are Jason L. Tisch, certified local government coordinator and preservation education coordinator for the Wisconsin Historical Society in Madison, and Paul Porter, tax credit reviewer for the State Historic Preservation Office at the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Thiensville has a historic preservation district that takes in much of Green Bay Road, South Main Street and the surrounding area. It includes 70 properties. Twenty of these are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
