Hours to vote are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM January 31st through February 15th.  The office is open until 5:00 PM on February 16th.

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot.  A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the Ward or Municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 10 consecutive days before the election.  The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot.  Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued.

Tax Payments


Tax payments can be made at the Village Hall, Port Washington State Bank (Thiensville Branch) or BMO Harris Bank (Thiensville Branch).

Tax Due Dates:

1st Half of Net Tax Bill due January 31, 2018 made payable to the Village of Thiensville.

2nd Half of Net Tax Bill due July 31, 2018 made payable to the Ozaukee County Treasurer.

If the installment plan is not utilized, full payment is due January 31, 2018.

Polls are open 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM at the Village Hall, 250 Elm Street.  You can register to vote at the Clerk's Office, at myvote.wi.gov or at the polls on election day.

Acceptable photo ID is required to vote, you must be 18 years of age or older, be a citizen of the U.S. and reside at your current address at least 10 days prior to the election.

Your pet is required to be licensed every calendar year.  Payments made after April 1st of the license year will be charged a $5.00 late fee.

Download the dog or cat license and submit with fees to the Village Clerk.

Un-neutered Male = $15.00
Neutered Male = $10.00
Un-spayed Female = $15.00
Spayed Female = $10.00
