Walk With the Dogs

The Thiensville Lifestyle Coalition's fourth Wednesday Walk through the village will take place this week.

Individuals who want to participate in the hour-long walk are asked to meet in Village Park at 6:55 p.m. The walk will depart promptly at 7 p.m.

The focus of this walk will be a Walk With the Dogs. It will be led by Dr. Sue Howell, veterinarian at Thrive Wholistic Veterinary Care, 188 S. Main St. in Thiensville. All are invited, whether or not they have a canine companion. The walk will wind through the park, down the Riverwalk, and along Green Bay Road and Buntrock Avenue. The walk will include a stop at Thrive and a water break for dogs behind Port Washington State Bank.

Karin Floodstrom, one of the organizers of the walks, interviewed Dr. Sue and profiled her business and the walk in this story.

Participants in the twice-a-month walk are invited to bring donations for Family Sharing, which will be collected before the walk begins. Dr. Sue also will collect cash or checks for the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus.
