Cedarburg Road Construction

Thiensville businesses remain open during road construction on Cedarburg Road in Mequon

All Thiensville businesses along North Main Street remain open and easily accessible during a city of Mequon road construction project that started several weeks ago.

Traffic on Cedarburg Road from Thiensville north to Pioneer Road in Cedarburg will be impacted into the fall by the road work.

Crews are milling the pavement and installing a new layer of asphalt. The project  includes culvert replacement, ditch repairs and tree-trimming. Improvements also are being completed at the railroad crossing near Bonniwell Road.

Work will run until Nov. 15. Drivers will be able to travel through the construction zone throughout the the project, although the road is closed to thru-traffic. The detour sends northbound traffic on Main Street in Thiensville west on Freistadt Road to Wauwatosa Road.
